So much time

Wow, one year already? I remember crapping my pants when I read on the Avalanche website what just took place. It was around 2am my time and I was up late studying. As I had finished my studies for the night, I made one last round of visiting my usual websites and then I read the shocking news. I was immediately pissed as Stewart was one of my favorites. Shatty was my favorite dman too. Given our current team, I still think I would prefer those 2 guys over what we gained in return. But, it's still too close to call.

One more thing to note: Stewart could be a pompous jerk and be a kind of cancer in the locker room. That's just the feeling I get about him but when he's playing well, there's nothing stopping him.

I still have to see Duncan Siemens play at NHL level to grade this trade. So far, Stewart looks like he's going to be a flash-in-a-pan type of player and Erik Johnson is making very nice progress lately. Siemens supposed to be our next Adam Foote...Cant wait to see him play with the Avs

I agree. EJ's goals have been nice, but his defense has been outstanding. You can't ask a player to play any better than he has this past month.

With EJ playing well, Varlamov looking good, and Duchene set to return, this team can make a real run at the playoffs now.

Defense is underrated. Tampa bay can score with the best of them but are still out of the playoff's while the kings can barely score a goal per game and are in.

Hopefully get can go on a run, really wanna see Duchene and Mueller play together again.

I think they can go 14-6-3 and have a decent shot at a playoff spot.
